The first major change is for long-form videos. Previously, creators needed 4,000 public watch hours, but according to this update, the requirement has increased to 8,000 watch hours within the last 365 days.

The second big change is for YouTube Shorts. Earlier, creators needed 10 million Shorts views in 90 days. Now, the target has doubled to 20 million views within the same 90-day period.

The good news is that the subscriber requirement has not changed. You still need 1,000 subscribers to qualify for monetization.

Also, the requirements for fan funding and YouTube Shopping features remain unchanged.
